Eye Disease Treatment and Management

Every yearly exam includes vision tests for glasses, contact lenses or both and a comprehensive eye health assessment.  When conditions like cataracts, diabetic and hypertensive retinal problems or other pathology is found, we will report and work closely with your Primary Physician and Ophthalmologist as Case Managers or in a supporting role. We routinely co-manage patients providing both pre and post operative care for cataract  and LASIK patients.  Dr. Baggarly is the only area optometrist that has served on staff at a local hospital and assists in pediatric cataract surgeries at Children's' Eye Institute and San Antonio Community Hospital.

For those with sudden vision changes, flashes and floaters, red eyes, injuries, possible infections, foreign particles or acute allergies, our team members are instructed to make every attempt to schedule that patient on the same day.
